This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
It took a couple hrs to take out the text and recreate the missing sections, I left that last character, I'm still not sure why..I may come back to this one with revisions.
4:3 ratio version plz! Otherwise great job! I kinda feel like the black border additions and the bolt like logo thinges on the corners don't really work to the wallpaper's general aesthetic advantage, however.
This wall looks absolutely fantastic and I really like it. I just more of wish you provided a link to the original so we could see what you did. For the most part, we can only assume that you've made vast improvements to the original. Though, without the original, we can't really tell what you've done.

If it's as much as I'm thinking, it more than deserves a favorite. I'd try to offer a bit more of a detailed description in the future so we can get a better idea of what's been done. Is the "last character" that you left in that little piece underneath her right eye? I would definitely remove that, it's simply distracting and doesn't add anything to the piece. Otherwise, very nice work!

I like it and the background is inspired but i would have gone a little bit more for tech way (like screw & co) rather than mixing with abstract (left part). Anyway, very good job.

Rei looks beautiful, i think you did a great job with it, the scan is so clean and beautiful. I like the composition and design style of it!! Will look perfect on my desktop!

Looks like a promotional image for the anime! I love the composition of this wallpaper and the futuristic feeling. The colors work so well with Rei and the whole atmosphere. I like the concept. Please make more wallpapers.
I understand the intention of the screws and other border items, but they really take away from the wall itself. However, I'll give you credit that even those are at least well done xD And it's kind of odd that you left one character... like a job not yet done. You really should've gotten rid of it before submitting it, but maybe that's just me.
