This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
So i wanted to make a wall of cowboy bebop , with spike , and i found a scan of him.So i vectorized from this scan, then i made all the vecto on illustrator, i created a "dancefloor" like in saturday night fever :p .
It took few hours to do this wall^^.
Hope you like it ^^
WHAT HAPPENED TO SPIKE'S HEAD! IT'S BEEN EATEN BY SOMETHING!
I love your idea with the disco theme and especially the light-up floor that looks slightly reminiscent of a DDR dancepad (which gave my roomie quite a laugh.) But you seriously need to fix Spike's head since I can't see any distinguishing features of a head. You should make it so you can see the ruffles of his hair, that way it looks like Spike and not a amorphous blob.
It's simplistic, which is nice, and it's original, which is awesome.
However, I would not have even been able to tell that was Spike if not for his name being in the wall, it just looks like some random person with an afro. Spike needs some defining features so someone can see it and actually have a chance at recognizing him.
It's still a good wallpaper, it just needs a little more to make it great.
OMG, this wallpaper is awesome!! I love it, minus the random head issue. My friend said the same thing (but I like it the way it is). This is such a fun wallpaper!
Wow, very simple yet tells an amusing story. The blackness of the background draws out the character and the dancing with the funky lights. Good job on this wallpaper. I also had to look because Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorites. I love older late 90's anime the most!
I like your idea of the wallpaper but i do not agree with the charcater layout which means that the vecoring isn't done nicely overall the wallpaper is 80% great and creatively cute.
for that its my fav.

I don't like this one at all. not that it isn't wel done and i respect you for your mad skills but the thing is I cannot associate this walpaper with cowboy bebop.
sorry.
Hey, great idea for a Cowboy Bebop wall. It has similar style to James Bond (at least spike does) but with some extra comedy. Very good work on the golden camera shutter thingy. My only advice is that Spike could do with a little more contrast. His suit is a little green, at least on my screen. Otherwise well done.
