Haven't submitted anything in a long time. Been busy with exams and working on this entry for Artgerms pepper project contest. Winner gets a free copy of the book and their entry published inside the artbook alongside artgerm himself
This picture took somewhere 15+ hours. i lost track. i can say though that it took me about 8 hours to do the head + hair alone cause i wasn't sure how to do the lighting for it.
I haven't posted this on my DA page yet, cause i wanna do it on teusday cause i'm neurotic that way. But in the meantime, feel free to drop by DA page :D

What an incredible contribution to artgerm's project. I love Pepper and this is an amazing rendition. The outfit looks great, but what is that purple layer? I'm trying to understand what part of the outfit it would comprise. From the shoulders up is my favorite part, lots of details.

Im not kidding here, I´m absolutlly in love with this wall, its perfect, blue faded with white, and the white is dominating, just as the perfect wall should be, and here comes the most perfect element ever.... the scan... Must I say explain how perfect this scan is?!
Very well, I shall... ok... its a girl... a very beautiful girl, and she is listening to music... "MUSIC"! The perfect thing ever! (And very very cool headphones btw!)
Sorry if I got carried away, but I´m very big fan of music and anime ^^ so when one combine those two elements into a wallpaper, I go crayzie of happiness!

Nice art and all (everyone will love it since people go friggen nuts over girls with headphones for whatever reason) but this as a wall is really lacking. There is just nothing going on in the background or anything. Seems more like something that should be on DA than here.
As for fairy-wings comment, i suppose i do have to agree with you. I used to be a webdesigner but those days are long past and so i have no idea what the new trend is for design aesthetics. I was thinking of a low opacity duplicate in the background as well but i thought that looked stupid. And i didn't want to overclutter it with vector shapes either specially since it didn't fit the mood either.
But thank you for the comment, i'll keep it in mind when i submit my next one. :)

I'm used commenting in detail since there are lot of things that could be better, but as there's no background...
The character is beautiful, even if it's not my favourite style (concerning the lips particularily : I do love the face when hiding the mouth, but she looks a bit weird to me when smiling). A good knowledge in anatomy.
Hey, you know what? While writing this message, I've found some weird things you could fix:
- the right leg is disproportioned compared to the left : the calf is slimer and smaller; I think with the perspective, it should be "fater"
- the clothes on the right leg looks rigid : it doesn't take on the body and seems to be floating rigidly in the air
- is the left socket finished?
Well... as usual, I couldn't help, I had to find out some things I didn't "like"! Forgive me . Good points? Ok:
+ the charcater : cute and well done considering the difficulty (I practise drawing and I know how difficult it can be. I suspect you of hiding the hands as it's the most difficult part I tink)
+ soft coloring, I should try this one
+ the character, the character...

I hope it didn't bother you I critisized your work, but I think it's important to have some exacting people. Keep drawing, I lie your work.
