This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I wanted to make a customized wallpaper having music as a theme. I've also included also one of my favorite songs, which is Iris. Hope to improve more though. Hope you'll like it
Heh, the simplicity is adequate, and I love where you're going with this wall. The i-pod definitely needs to be vectored to suit the overall wall, at the moment, it just seems too realistic. Maybe you could try something different with the lyrics, such as placing them in those waves of musical notes.
I'm not sure how the note system works so I'll point out a few things here.
I really like where you're going with this paper. The simplistic theme is great, and you've done a great job with directing the viewer through the wall.
One suggestion I missed with the notes relates to the lyrics: while I like how you have them in the wall as small and linear, the positioning is so that it looks like she's sitting on the words. I'm not sure if it was intentional but It seems a little odd to me. I was thinking they could be moved up just a bit behind her.
To add to the given suggestions, maybe you could replace the lines in the musical notes with the lyrics themselves, remove two of the upper lines along with the notes on them so the top of the wall wouldn't look too occupied compared to the bottom, then add bubbles down to the bottom of the wall so it won't look too empty
