While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hi there, well, I'm pretty tired so I wont go into much description. Pretty much I wanted to try and colour in a scan that I saw while reading Claymore. I just couldn't help but think this scan was really cool, and although I've exaggerated his appearance somewhat, I hope others can enjoy what I've tried to do. Essentially all I did was use photoshop/paint/brushes/contrast/etc.
I actually really like this. It is simple, one focus point, and the color blends.
Most of all (and a little stupid), it is a wallpaper I can have without my roomates making fun of me ._.;;
I would put more details in the background fire... (and make a 1680x1050 resolution one) :3
I like the colors you used on his body and especially the blue on his face, it gives away a cold feeling.
Although i can't agree totally with the colors chosen for the rest of the background since the yellow on the left part doesn't totally match. I think you could use some effects to give the impression that while this monster walks the earth trembles or flames are risen. Something like that.
Overall, great colors!

Let me just say that your coloration of the scan is wicked. Very awesome work. If the scan was colored originally, I can't imagine theirs looking better than this. I mean it. You really put some hard work into this coloring job and it clearly shows. My only problem is that you don't have the wall in my resolution. If you ever do make more resolutions let me know so I can fave this.
