As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
Everytime I listen to Long dream, it reminds me of Shiki . Maybe that could be her theme song (?). Oh, and don't forget "Transformers". That song really reminds me of Beat. (the remix of the song also remids me of Linkin Park for some unknown reason).

The background (or in other word, the left side) is that empty because.. I like it xD Texture from DA. Needs the other resolution?

Vectoring the hair must be one heck of a work. O_o Very clean vector indeed, and nice choice of colours. I particularly love the leaves behind, they're so green, and dangling behind Yuuko like with the smoke, awesome bg in short, lol. YES, more space on the left means you can throw in more icon over that side. XD

I also love the bit of grunge look in the background. I would have never thought to choose that dark grey for the background but it fits rather nicely. :)

I really like your choice of colour! This is definitely a +fav. My only critisicm is that on the far left there is a splotch of dirt/grunge/grey that I think you really should clean up, and that I will probably do myself to the one I download if you don't. =P Thanks so much for sharing this, it's beautiful.
Oh look at that, i have started vectoring this scan a month ago. but didn't quite finish colorizing it as i got oh so tired of it. i made the outlines kinda Okami-like (deh video game), and pictured the colors very differently from the ones you chose (they are very nice btw).
my only complaint is the background, for i don't find the colors fitting nor blending that well with your vector, not the leaves though, i like the leaves ... along with that your great vector >_>.

I love it when people vector CLAMP's work. It just always so detailed and beautiful. I don't exactly like the color very much... it doesn't fit >.< Though I like the leaves and the smoke. Nice job.

I Think Her Face is True, as It is Called 'Poker Face'. In Her Face without Folds and Shadow, There is no Warm and Emotion.
Darkness in the Background and Brightness in Her Skin and Dress Express Wonderful Combination. It Improves Her Own Heartless Atmosphere.
Arts in the Background are Very Natural and Stable. Although Dark Colors are arround Them, They Stand out.

This wallpaper needs more to it imo. the scan is beautifully done but the background is lame- (that means boring)
if your going to spend time vectoring a nice scan at least try to make a background.
