After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well, I've never seen this anime before, but it was a request from one of my friends on MyOtaku, Madarame2. He said he wanted one of Chihiro from Ef [yes, she has an eye-patch; it's a long story as to why so you should watch the anime...so sad.]...so here it is! From light and cute, sitting on a bench at a train station to dark and spooky...cloudy and mysterious. Hah. Sure is odd, right? I wasn't going to do something like this at first, but for some reason...this was just the image that I saw in my mind. ^^; I wanted an oddly huge moon in the back, and yeah. This is definitely different from what I've done...I'm usually big on using textures, but I didn't really with this one! I went more for the clear and shiny look.
The good ol' moon picture was found here. It's the same moon I always use on wallpapers. XD I changed the color, blurred it a bit, and overlayed pink.
The rest of the background was brushwork and glows (and also some blurring to make Chihiro stand out more). Overlays, etc. I'd say the hardest part of this wallpaper was extracting her...cause her hair was a bit annoying. I had to smudge a lot of her edges, but I don't think it's that noticeable, right? Looks ok? I sure hope so!! I covered up some of the more...um, bad-looking edges with the clouds on top, so yay. XD
Nope...don't know what else to say. *thinks* It took over an hour to do...maybe 2 actually. I hope you [and he] like(s) it! :3
[revision: As per several comments, I changed some things...no fog, I attempted to sharpen her more, though I kept some of her hair smudged to give it the fading into the bg look...umm...oh!! TREES. No longer ugly alien branches sticking out of the ground. Thank you, Oli-chan, for the brushes!! Which, btw, were from deviantart... here. Umm...I added some texture overlays...and changed some of the colors. I really hope I changed it for the better. T__T]

Say, I quite enjoy the purple hues, and the background too! I'm always seem to enjoy the moon backgrounds My only other comment is to say that having only one eye showing looks just a tad unusual (not to say that I have any knowledge whatsoever of the anime, just from an aesthetic point of view.

Ahem, but let's move on to more serious stuff ^^" I like how you modified the scan, there's a big difference between the original and what resulted (and it's a good one too!). I was wondering when you'd submit a dark wallpaper, all of the ones submitted here are light ^_^"
Also, the multiple fonts are a nice touch, they add a bit of diversity to the wall! (not like other moon/celestial wallies which only have a gradient, a moon and a ton of star brushes slapped randomly on top of each other )
Now comes the not-so-good part (in my opinion anyway). I know there isn't much you could've done about it, but the black silhouette in the background looks a bit awkward there. It's as if branches were growing out of a hill... Maybe you can try adding some tree brushes, without adding the hill itself Who am I to offer advice anyway? I suck at night-time walls (that's why I avoid them like the plague!)
Keep up the good work! I'm sure Madarame will like it (liked it, if he has seen it already)!

I love Chihiro! She was my favourite. I like the colours and effects of your wallpaper. And the title too ^^ Madarame2! That reminds me! I totally forgot to reply to his PM...
I would say it's a bit blurred and the mist effects are overdone. The wall would look better with the light reduced and the scan sharpened. The dead trees in the background also seem to be in low quality and they actually make the feeling of faintness.
However, it's a nice idea and with some slight improving it could be a beautiful wall.
Plus, the girl really is very cute and I like the writings you've added into the background.

To my opinion I reckon the mist effect is very nicely done (gives the atmosphere a very nice effect) I've also not seen the anime before, but I just like the characters XP (as long as they're cute!) And I love the pink background (because I like pink, or is it purple backgroud? Daah who cares I like it anyways) and although the picture looks a bit blurry but it's still very nicely done (in two hours!?! WOW! )

I really love the colors, and it's a very lovely wallpaper. However, I think I would like it a bit better if the backdrop was more proportional to the girl. It makes her look like a giant. But it's still cute!
