This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
... as usual comments and favs are accepted so :P e-cookies for all cause gaby gave a great title :P
i most certainly will ^^'' .. by now you have realised i didn't know what to name the wall so there .. if you got a name leave a comment about it and if it suits it i'll change it :P ... well it took three days ... 9 scans all from AP ... omg 9 scans .. oh well it worked out in the end pretty simple wall right ..right ..rightttt ... WRONG ... *cries ... so many time i got frustrated but meh .. all good things takes time i guess .. nothing much to say other than that really ... made for someone really special to me ... *snatches pillow ... errh was listening to a number of tracks while making it so i can't really give a playlist but i'm rambling now ... OH BTW added various resolutions just in case cause if you're like me you're lazy to resize stuff ..
I love Deathnote. But I never read the manga. It is kinda hard to find the popular ones.
But forget that because this looks great and the vectoring is flawless so I can tell that you worked really hard. I admire that kind of dedication. And therefore this wall goes into the faves.
I also like the black/white thing it reminds me of a whole bunch of differant noir works I have seen. I always had a liking for the differant artistic expression's that come from noir.
It's cool, and I like it, but to me it looks unbalanced. There's too much on the left side and not enough on the right, because Light is standing much higher than L and it also looks like the chair is off-center. The chair is the focal point, and in this style, it needs to be centered. It's possible that it's just displaying as slightly off-center because of the size of the paper itself, though. Other than that, I guess if it had been me, I would have chosen a different pose for L... but I still think the concept is awesome.
Sakuraneko you've done it again! You're just to good, another wall from you that I just love! The attention to detail like just below the chair on the skulls... my word you have patients! Black & white makes for a very good wall if you know what you're doing and you most certainly do! +fav

Who is this? This is me. Who am I? What am I? What am I? What am I?
I am I. This object that is, is myself. That which forms me. This is the self that can be seen, and yet this is not like that which is myself. A strange feeling. My body feels as if it is melting. I can no longer see myself... my form, my shape fades from view. Awareness dawns of someone who is not me. Who is here? There? Beyond me, here. Shinji. This person I know. Major Katsuragi. Dr. Akagi. People, my classmates. The pilot of Unit Two. Commander Ikari. Who are you? Who are you? Who are you?"
But forget that because this looks great and the vectoring is flawless so I can tell that you worked really hard. I admire that kind of dedication. And therefore this wall goes into the faves.
