This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well this is the first time for me to made such simple wall
and i merely playing brush in this wall
the vector is credited to Karaz.
i made the background black to keep it simple
actually i want the brushes to be black and white but it seems so..plain (?) --a
i'll give the desaturated version afterwards
thanks for your advices =D
Oh, i like this wall... L is so bright, contrast with the black colour... ^^
and i like the background...its great! the colour, the shapes... i love it!
thanks for sharing... my fav! ^^
Excellent. near is very bright. excellent job in making him glow. the background is also very well done. the words are perfect. really an excellent job.
"Simple"?? Well, regardless, I love it! I think it's truly beautiful. It looks great with the colorful brushes behind Near. If you had it like you said, just black and white, then Near wouldn't stand out as much. He really glows, and his white contrasts on the color which contrasts on the black! It's just wonderful. ^^ The only thing that I noticed was that the L he's holding is a bit jagged-looking? I could've been smoothed out or blurred a bit maybe...but other than that (a very tiny thing), I LOVE this wallpaper. *faves* Good job!
the contrast of the bright Near and the black background is great, i really like it,
i also love the simplicity with choosing a black background, i also love the colorful brushes behind Near
keep up the great wok, you did an awesome job with this wall
thx for sharing

wow zero in orange really is hot :x
I would only complain about the L which is pretty pixelated and the scan is so white and light that he's merged with the brushes at the bottom.
Anyway I kind of like the colors you used. But they are a little too bright for the rest...
Nice quote by the way.
Or not...
