This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Ever since I saw Grimmjow appearing through that fabric-tearing dimensional portal thing I wanted to make a wall of him. So I vectored Grimmjow's face and made my own simplistic portal.
At first I wanted to make the wall with stars and some clouds and Grimmjow appearing from the sky, but instead I preferred to make the black & white style wall since looked much better ^^

Hmm not to nag, but you have some jagged outlines on the white parts of space opening. lol but not a huge issue i guess, i reallly like like this wall its an awesome portrayal of Grimmjow.
Hmm props for the interesting original design of the wall, but the lines are pretty jaggedy and it is especially noticeable on the lines reaching out into the white.

Nice job, keeping it clean and simple was a good idea.
however i think that if you made the words "no. 6" the same color as his eyes it would flow together better.
