After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Please be kind!! *puppy dog eyes* This is my FIRST vector ever...so I know it isn't the best. There are a lot of things I could probably improve upon. ^^;; But anyhoo, I wanted my first vector to be of a One Piece character. I wanted Nami at first, but I couldn't find any good images of her. :( So...I made one of Robin. ^^
I must say first and foremost, however, that this wallpaper is dedicated to my dear friend Oli-chan (infinity-explorer/sweetdevil etc.). This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for her...she's been helping me so much with advice on my wallpapers. She's my sensei! And she helped so much with giving me tutorials on vectoring. :3 She requested a wallpaper, and it was up to me to choose what it was going to be of...so of course I wanted to dedicate my first vector to her! I hope you like it!! *hugs*
Ok, now down to the nitty-gritty stuff...this took soo long. I don't think I ever want to make a vector again. XD At least not until I find a lot of time and patience! It took me a week's worth of working on it (roughly a half-hour to 2 hours each day), and lets see...A LOT of layers. Definitely not as many as those intricate vectors I've seen, but still. About 80 shape layers and 20 path layers (for the outlines). Now what took forever on this was the outlining...because I didn't know what I was doing, and I ended up doing it wrong...*rolls eyes* So I had to do it all over. ^^; Oh, I bet you want to see the original screenshot and vector (before walling it), ne? Here is the screenshot (from opening 4), and here is my vector (before making the wallpaper). :3
So yeah, the vector took forever...and as for the wallpaper, I wanted to make it look like a wanted poster (since she IS wanted)...and like she's in prison sorta, too, with the bg. ^^; I overlayed some light PS texture and brown. Then the text...more shapes in back and some brushwork. The end. I wasn't going to do the brown because of all my hard work with her original colors, but it looks good. I hope. I HOPE. Enjoy. Go easy on me with the critiques, ok? It's my first time. XD
I would say its really good first vector, and your effort didnt go to waste. Even tho you can still improve :) like my self . As for the big problem, would be the nouse.. the thick black line there is getting my all attention >.<, if you could take it away.. or make it thinner, the attention would most likely disappear. Overall Its a great wall in my opinion, and I wish you fun vectoring experience
This wallpaper is very creative! I love the brown hues, and your vector work is amazing! The text looks a bit stretched, but other than that I really like it. Keep up the great work.

Zakuro, for your first vector it aint bad. It's pretty good for start, you will do it much better, anyway you succeded in making one hell of a wallie. you colored his hair perfectly, nice changes with colors, they keep a nice touch!!

Ton wallpaper est simple mais assez beau, ton vecteur de robin est très bien fait, j'adore ses cheveux en dégradé. ( apart au niveaux des mains où les traits ne sont pas droit du tout )
J'aime bien les couleurs, ( elles vont bien avec Robin ) la police est bien choisie par contre je pense que tu aurait du mettre sa mise à prix en dessous de wanted, ça aurait été pas mal ^^
Sinon je trouve aussi que les bars dans le fond, derrière Robin ne vont pas bien avec elle.

I like this kind of robin. in my memory, robin seems not really a kind girl, instead, i think she is very cool. hahaha.why i said like this? because im not quite often see she laughing. this is because she had a bad childrenhood. but , this picture really nice.cuz we can find a kawaii robin. really nice smile. thank you making such a nice wallpaper...
and the size is really fit to collect. you must be working very hard on it. ps: sorry about that i cant speak english well. anyway, im very happy to share this picture

Nice and simple wallpaper design with a lot of visual impact
The vector looks like it could use a little fine tuning in a few places to smooth up some of the corners and such, but overall it's solid work
