As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. The title of this work translates to "Thirst of Love" which to me perfectly represents the relationship between Suigintou and Shinku. I mean the most important thing to both of them is becoming Alice - being acknowledged by Father (getting his love)
I have once again rediscovered the beauty of Illustrator XD Pure vectoring. As for the black parts... well I didn't want to cut the scan, I'm not that imaginative to draw the missing pieces, and I also liked the old widescreen Hollywood films, so I decided it would look best like that. Details: scan:Found on AP layers: About 90 Fun fact: I couldn't stand the sepia-ish colours of the scan, so I looked through a lot of RM scans to find the ultimate Shinku/Suigintou colours, and I like what I see XD

PS. My AntiVirus downloaded a virus to my computer and I lost +25Gb worth of scans and my unfinished works T_T I HATE NORTON! NEVER AGAIN!! And yet today I feel really cheerful... I must be retarded XD

I must say although the background isn't much (because there is very little of it anyways)it is made with very careful detailing and work and there is even a foreground object as well (table with cookies) but the title is a bit strange (aren't they supposed to hate each other?)
Anyways besides that the characters have been vectored very carefully, so that's a point to be complimented on as well.

Love the wallpaper, the scan needed a vector anyway, and glad you did it, and I knew it, Shinku was behind Suigintou all the time... they are lesbian dolls lol, so tsundere.
Colors are good, a bit rich for my taste, but I say it is very detailed.
The background... Erm... Nothing much to say because the characters take up most of the space, but it's pretty nice. The characters are vectored very wall, the lines and colors are awesome.

Absolutely love the composition of the wall, beautiful flow that matches up flawlessly with DarkAliaz's vector (who, by the way, did a wonderful job).
Only thing that I can say annoys me is Shinku's hair, tis a bit burning on my eyes (and, maybe its my monitor, some of it, especially near her right ear seems a bit discoloured)
Either way, back to the wall:
I don't really know how to describe it, everything just fits, but I still get this faint feeling that something is out of place... I think it's the top blobby bit (don't know how else to describe it). Either, it doesn't fit with the smaller/thinner blobs at the bottom, or something's wrong with my eyes :P
