As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

First of all yes I made a collab with my dear friend barcalover ^^
We have talked a while ago to make one together. Here it is it now.
Barca has decided, after I showed her other scans, that we use this great scan of Yuji Kobajashi herefor our wallpaper.
She extracted the scan, they also had the idea of the wall with an Old Paper look to mix. I have it implemented and added my idea with the leavs too who I found on google, and of course i added the scan. Then I add the shaddows and changed the coulers ^ ^
Finally Bsrca has also invented the title and added it too.
The wall and the old paper texture were from devianart.com of cource ^^
All together needs round a week I think. Because we must wait ca. 12 hours
for the massages form each other. We have used Photoshop with only 12 layers ^^

Like i always say. i can never have too many evangelion wallpapers, if it has aianamy on it the better. i wonder if you can make a new wqallpaper for evangelion with the new evas design, you think you can make it?i just saw the new movie and went crazy wth that. well the wallpaper is nice but not really inventve he... maybe you could work it a little more to make it unique hum?

Yay! It's Rei!! woot! anyway, the whole wallpaper is great and I love the scan... she is so cute and.. ehem! for the background, I really like the leaves, good job in that one! for the text, I think, a bigger size and combined fonts will really look great... for the awesome scan... uhmmm... adding a shadow will look it much better, I mean, it really looks good right now but, when you look at Rei... as if she was lay flat in the background (if you know what I mean) so, adding shadows will look her about more advance than the wall... that's all! overall, it's an awesome wallie! ^^
Yuji Kobayashi ? well okay you did a good work!both of you and I say that's the kleafs are great

the leafs look clumsy cause it's on the border but the texture make everything good =D

The colors and the textures are nice and you really gave it an old paper look to it. The only thing that bugs me is the leaves. Maybe it will look nicer if they are spread out more naturally instead of like a border. Other than that, love everything :D
