While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

well..i start with the BG i made it by so many kinds of brushes and mixin the colors then addin the textures "sum of em were made by me" as well as changin the whole colors many times :D
btw,the birds,the stars and the moon "maybe its not clear" were taken from daisuki.com.br
actually i found the scan in that site as well,its extracted and reconstructed by caio @ www.daisuki.com.br so..thnx! :)
and i searched for that poem in google "under the main title" and searched for the castle in google as well..
this wall took me 3 hours to finish!
Awesome!! i love it!! i think the poem complements the wallpaper and the BG is very good.
maybe you can give to te vector more brightness, but if dont want its stills Awesome!!

the picture is a girl exploring the area for frsh air or something like that
it needs color to brighten it also needs effects to make it interesting
1. colors are always necessary colorless art is near to nothing...

3.the character is the most important thing the character gives emotion to the whole

I like the colors you use in the background and the scan looks really nice ^_^ but I think you accidentally erase some parts of the scan... for example a part of the finger from her left hand... and a part of the dress in the right side (the part without contour...) and i think you need to work a little with the colors of the scan because the colors of her legs looks different from the rest of the scan.... and that makes it looks a little weird... anyway is a really nice wallpaper ^_^

the colours are nice little faint for my tastes though :P the poem needs to be brighter though it fades into the bckground to much and you cant rly read it :/ just a little brighter
some of the scan is missing to XD little bit of the finger and dress :O i reallyyy like the brushes used and the textures :D anyway +fav nice work

Gorgeous. My only problem is that the color of the text of the poem is... off... for me. Why not make it a lighter shade of that used for the title? Rather, use the color you used for the title for the poem, and darken the title. Make it "pop."
