As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
For the group thing, I thinked I will wait for the v6 but if a lot of people ask for it, I guess I have no choice but to do it^^ To commemorate the SSS rating, the svg of my bakuman wall is on my last journal entry.Got to go doing teaching. See you later~
Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool
Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.
I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node
You have to finish the path to edit it with the node tool. You can finish a path by closing it up or by pressing enter. You can also go back in the path by pressing backspace. I also suggest you to try pressing shift and ctrl while using the Bezier tool^^

Yea,first comment. Well I have seen it in Session Zero and it was already good, and this time is even better. Vector this from a screencrap reqiures a full-fledged waller of a high class.
You chooosed a suitable scene,the the two faces of Yagami Light - the normal Light, as he shows his face before others and in the mirror Kira, who think about himself as a new god of the world.
Overall quality is chuper, nice big resolution. A good job there which should deserve my favorite.

As much as I like the fact that my wallpaper was accepted. I really dislike some of the serious JPEG artifacting for the shrunken versions of the wallpaper. Especially on the right side.
Excellent concept, the only thing I don't like about it is the floating text in the mirror. Try to make it line up with something instead of it being curved and floating. But other than that, excellent!
Wooow...this wallpaper is really amazing...i like very much the image you chose to use for your work and the vividness of the colours...i think this anime is the best ever made...Yagami Light is a great character but L is my favourite XD...very good job...my compliments ^_^
The DN sign definitely needs to be adjusted to the perspective of the rest of the image...

That's so ironic.. o.o..I was just watch the directors cut the other day, and when I saw this clip it looked perfect for a dn wall. And here it is on ap the next day, lol. For your first vector I think it looks great, but maybe some textures would have made it look better? Nevertheless, a nice attempt, and congratz for the first submission.
