This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This has been my current desktop bg for a while and since I'm in a walling block I thought I'd try and be kinda/sorta/active and just upload this [for the reason why I've been so inactive, click the spoiler].
Title from "The Dragster Wave" by Ghinzu. Other wall text [c] me.
SPOILER (click to view)
OH KAY so when my marking period 2 grades and my midterm grades came back my parents basically sat me down and said "Say goodbye to your media trinkets and your social life and say hello to your AP chem textbook and your preCalc textbook." I guess my little exclusion from the Internetz did do me some good [right now all my marking period grades are 90+, which is a big deal since I'm taking a shitload of hard classes] but STILL. The fact that their intervention/my failure coincided with some relationship issues I've been having just has not been... pleasant. Yes, pleasant is the exact opposite of my inner mind theater's emotion-of-choice.
On an entirely different note, I would love to sing in my school's musical next year. I find that whim hilarious. It'll probably go away in a day or two.
Edit: LOL I wasn't trippin' on any illicit substances when I made this. I guess this is how my mind naturally works.
I took a closer look and the thumbnail doesn't do this wallpaper justice at all, it's so amazingly detailed right down to the flowers, it has emotion and power with a soft touch grace and sex appeal, it's beautiful really great job A+ and a fav
My, my, this is fantastic
I love the typography! It's brilliant. The quote "chemical cure the symptoms, not the disease" is very clever.
The whole thing is very inspiring, sadly there's no widescreen resolution for Fran D:
Keep it up, yo.
I just love every aspect of this wallpaper. The flowers beautiful and I just love the hair. I even liked the little message on the wall. I heart this wallpaper and this a must fav for me!
Sing on plastic tree sing on ... and back to the wall ... can't fault you with this one ... anything remotely close to pop art/Andy warhol theme/ yours . gets a fav in my books just...cause ...dammit ...

Very nice work. Good colour usage and design. :)
It looks something like album art. It is a bit sharp and jaggedy, but I can overlook that for the real substance of the wall. I quite like the text too. :) Nice job!
As always, you made a unique visualization of a theme only you can make into a wall. I'd probably have to be delusional and tripping on various illicit substances to be able to even visualize your unique visions. Sheer style you have here :)
The flowers look kinda weird, considering that everything else in the wall is a solid color. But that's just being nitpicky. Nice work. +fav
