This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
For those of you who don't know. This is my first 'offical' wallpaper on AP. It is made for 'Round 2' in 'Make-up's wallpaper contest'. I couldn't of gotten started if it wasn't for Blulaguna18 and Augus199. These two were bombarded with revision after revision. Pouring out all there ideas and effects. To try and help me move towards my goal. Which was very difficult given the scan I used.
This is the scan I use:
It wasn't the first scan I was using but it is the last one I ended up using. The first one I rather destoried in the beginning of the process and I lost the extraction of it. So, I just got a new one wall together. Look nice; don't you think?
As for this final revision. I'd like to thank everyone at Session Zero and Session Zero wallpaper for commenting and giving advice. An to all those who I started to bombard with new revisions like; microwar, eddokun, damoser, hakusa, and anyone else I forgot. An I wouldn't of submitted if it wasn't for Nat giving her insight as an Admin of the site that it was done. I'm not sure I'd of had enough courage to submit again.

As for the wallpaper concept. It happened over time. With there face's being so oddly serious. There was only one thing they ever got so serious about and that was protecting their princess; Princess Serenity/Usagi/Serena. By which ever name you are familiar its the same Moon Princess they vow to protect. So, please enjoy this wallpaper and leave a comment if you feel like it.

Effects of Colors are not only Natural but also Delicate. Although Colors are Various and Complicate, the Effects Make Them be Well-Match for Each Other and Create Wonderful Combination.
The Castle in the Background is Classical and Elegant. It Looks Like Come from India.
Sailors' Respective Colors are Very Impressive. I Think They Express Their Own Personality behind Their Uniform.

Being one of the one's that has followed the creation of this wallie, I can say that it has came a LOOONG way. It looks really great. I love the end result of the shading and colors. You can really tell that a lot of work and I mean a LOT of work has went into this wallie. I remember how dark it used to look and the castle was barely visible, but now it looks fantastic. Seing this one completed makes me want to go back and finish working on my project, lol.

This is definatly a change from other Mars wallpapers... i must say i can't think of anything i can mention outside of simple nitpicking (the main one is the left side of the wallpaper feels a little empty) so i'll fav this and watch you for further releases.
