This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Well another wallpaper by me. not my best; as it seems a bit messy but there's a concept behind it.
if you've watched this anime series; u'll understand the volatility that occurs in reality due to the central chracter; Haruhi Suzumiya. Won't say anything else due to spoilers.
also; the seemingly calamaty (is that even a word) in the water signifies the peace that Haruhi finds in chaos...or something like that.
I like this wallpaper.it is somehow very unique. All the effects look great, the colors are nice and the graphics are really good as well.I also think that the background reflects the ambitions of Haruhi,it somehow gives you the feeling that something interesting is going to happen.Wall done!Splendid wallpaper!
The concept is interesting and the effects are adequate, though a tad messy here and there. The style seems unique, though a bit peculiar, it's still cool nonetheless. I love the texts and the overall feel to the wall, nice work! x]
Haruhi is so cute. The dark colors are very attractive and the concept is quite good. I just don't like the water effect there. Kinda ruins the effect. But it's nice.
I love the colors and the concept of your wall...it's so pretty! the scan looks great, as well and fits in with your background quite nicely! but the clouds on the bottom seems to need some work. i like your wispier clouds on the top of your wall...they almost look like feathers...

Another one of my favourites. I love the way the light shines down on the girl and the sea. An excellent work on the scythe as well. I'd always liked scythes. Did you know that the kanji you used is reflected? Like in a mirror or something. I'm not japanese but I am chinese and the words of these two languages are sometimes alike. I think it means "Grass of Forgetfulness" or something.

took a while to make, but was enjoyable while it lasted. different to my other pieces where it isn't as 'full on' / chaotic . =]
