Why do skirts exist? It's hard to say really... guys used to ware skirts. You know, in Scotland and Greece and like that? They did, I saw it on Xena Warrior Princess all the time. The men wore skirts just like Xena did, really short ones too. Hercules, he never wore a skirt though, well, I don't think he did at any rate. Anyway, that's neither here nor there I guess. The thing is, they don't anymore (ware skirts I mean). So maybe why was because of the weather, you know? The weather was warm in Greece back then, you gotta figure. I'm not sure how that explains Scotland though. Maybe the Scotts thought it all some glorious and romantic test of manhood or something, who could bare their legs the most in the dampest weather and still throw a log real far? It could have been all about chafing I suppose, we do have a lot of new materials around now a'days you know. And then of course there's the theory that people just liked to feel a breeze down there or something, I don't know. Whatever the reason though, men, they just don't ware skirts anymore. And women's skirts, they've gotten truly weird in a lost of cases. Like, business suits for women? A truly cringe worthy invention I have to say. I mean think about it people. You're in the middle of a heavy work load at the law firm or whatever, and you're feeling restless. You say to yourself, "hey! I've been sitting in this stupid chair all morning, I bet it'd feel great to do a few jumping jacks, loosen up a bit. Yeah!" but can you? If you're a guy, you can, sure, but if you're a woman, hell no you can not! You see what I'm saying here? Skirts have gotten truly messed up over the years. They used to be about something, there used to be skirt equality like in Xena where there was whole armies of men in skirts prancing about as pretty as you please, so it was fair and you had a better view and stuff. But now? Now skirts have somehow become all about repressed sexual tension, widening the gap between the genders, and all sorts of other vaguely sinister things. So yeah, I'm gonna say it: Skirts have become really ugly things over the years. It's sad really, but true u_u
