While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Here's my birthday present for you, I know that it's not much but
I hope you like it ^_^

Nothing much to say on the wall, if I have to be honest
I'm not very satisfied of the final result (sorry, voicy...).
I used this scan.
The background was meant to be really simple,
but I still think it lacks something...

Very eye-catching and stylish wallpaper. I gotta say, this one caught my eye out of all the new ones on the front page, and I wasn't disappointed when I full-viewed it :p I love the colors you used. Feel like something is off with the face, but I can't really place it ~_~ Anyway, the wallpaper has a very good overall feel.

Kewl! love the the patterns used!
i like the web part in her kimono
+ the colors are totally blend to each other.
the shading is just fine + the bg is simple yet you only focus
on the character + its flowers around her.
the vector is clean + the is really nice without the black outlines
maybe the one that is lacking here is the texture or a text.
this one goes to my FAV!

Really nice picture!! Yes, you're right: the background is quite simple but I like it. But there is a thing that I'm not very convinced about your wallpaper: in my opinion the girl (sorry, don't know her name!:d) needs a black lineart... to matches with those fantastic butterflies!... I think it would be great if you could submit another version with the black lineart but it's only my opinion^^

Anyway, you did a great job!

I appreciate the way you used this simple theme, and how you left the character without the outlines. Everything's just...clean, simple, and refreshing. :) It looks better now than on the original scan. :P
Hmm...I'm not very sure what you're missing there though...but I'll get back to you if I ever come up with it! ^^

This is really nice. I love the simplicity and the beauty that seems to flow together nicely here. To me, I think a darker color would look good as the background, but those are opinions. The thing that the background is missing, well I can't really put a finger on it but I understand what you're saying. But the wall is very intruiging and interesting because of the different style used to creat it.

The only thing that bother me about this wall is the color of the background, I don't really know it just doesn't seem nice. Otherwise amazing vectoring job and love the small details. Another warrior masterpiece. (+fave)
