This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I've realized this is the first wallpaper for Shinobu Tanno, so here we go.
It's all about the scan again, though it was pretty messy I really wanted to wall it and decided to vector it. Huh, there were some hard times with that:))
And the idea for those hummingbirds came suddenly. Vectoring of them is based on these brushes, however I've added a lot of details.
This is messy?! I think it's beautiful! It feels like you have a watercolor painting on your desktop, and the colors are just... mesmerizing, perfectly complementary. Great job!
Well the original scan must've been hard to work with, but you made an awesome job out of it. The vector is absolutely amazing and the hummingbirds are wonderful! They immediately catch your attention and I was mesmerised. This is one of those walls a normal person cannot just walk by without noticing.
Dang I wish I could have been the first to comment XO Well anyway, to me it looks so fine and smooth I would swear you drew the whole thing your self, I like the composition and you did a great job vectoring,, it's lonely and sad tho to me like shes waiting for someone, like a maiden who lost her robes and is stuck on earth searching for them so she may return to heaven, the dark of night protecting her from harm, humming birds at her side as a light casting away evil. Hmm well that's what I see anyway, it really is beautiful dear friend you have such great talent.

Oil Pastels anyone? Really this is quite a bit of work, I like how the light of the moon slowly fades away. Also the ora is simply, well I don't know how to describe it but you know what I mean.

It take great skills to add more onto a wallpaper. It's also ten times harder to make it look like it was there in the first place. Imagination is much more important than talent, and even though there isn't much in the wallpaper that is purely you, it still shows what you can do. And that is basically what art is about. Great job, and I hope to see more of your wallpapers. (+fave)
This is simply gorgeous. I love how you vectored the girl and the birds. I might have left the texture off of the bg so that it all looked as smooth as the girl, but then again, the difference in texture is also interesting. Looking forward to seeing more from you. Fav!

You really did this scan justice with the wall; I was really hoping someone would wall this art, just didn't think it would happen so soon. Great job on the wall it is absolutely beautiful. :) I love the birds and the shimmery effects. The colours are great too; a very good nighttime wall.
