This is my first attempt to make a wallpaper. I've only been working with Photoshop for only a couple day. I've always liked the characters from The Melanchloy of Suzumiya. I just thought I'll give it a try and create something and here it is. Turns out different than I thought but I still like it. What do you guys think?

I think the the font for "Yuki Nagato" is not really suit with the overall theme and background of the wallpaper. Just my opinion though...
But, it is a great-looking-first-time wallpaper i'd say!!

well at first sight it seems interesting.
i like the BG, the brushes and the colorless effect that you tried to transmit.
im just not sure about the white shapes on the left corner somehow it seems that doesnt fit too much, Out of that i like black&white wallpapers.

its cute, its sort of spilt blood stains, its modern and its literary.
i like it there is originality great work
remember:
1. colors are always necessary colorless art is near to nothing...
2.effects makes it all look impressive removes the simplicity of it all...
3.the character is the most important thing the character gives emotion to the whole
wallpaper...
4.don't over do it...

As it is a lot of brushes оО! Never was able to do many brushes on one Wallpapers that it was beautifully looked. But at you it has turned out fine!))) the truth in the left bottom corner has left a mash)

But do something with the text and font. Take "colorless" closer to "Yuki Nagato" too.
