After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

this is actually my entry for the Night Scene Widescreen contest in the Scenic Group.
I was kind of confused at first. What kind of night scene i should make? And i ended up making this. and i worked the most on the moon. i used lots of filters on it. And the clouds itself is a stock, fixed with smudge tool. (long live smudge tools, yay!)
the bird themselves is from a scan. i planned to use a bird brush, but i don't think it will fit so i browsed the gallery and found this scan. I extracted the scan i put the birds on it. Scan credited to CarbonR.

edited: as Dias has suggested, i removed the blur of the character, and equalized the blur opacity of the birds. also, i lessen the blur of the moon and set up the color hue and saturation to match the bg.

The background is looking really good, the moon and the night sky looks very nice. The character is looking good too, though her skin is very pale, and her hat is darker than it should be. The text is nice, good wallpaper.
I think the background on this is just gorgeous, the stars are soft yet glow beautifully, and the moon is excellent, oddly enough the girl was the last thing I saw since you did such a amazing job on the background, I like the birds and the little white feathers to they make good details, and the widescreen makes it look even more vibrant since you had more room to add and smooth out everything. A- really great job
Oh, so many beautiful walls for today..) When commenting on a wall, I usually try to find at least something to criticize in it. But I'm afraid this time I'm just forced to end up saying the wall is... is great. I just have no other words. Really, thanks. Like the blue colours on the bg.

Sugoi! I love how the bg is grundgy and fading like, the girl is beautiful! Who submitted the original scan? The wings are also so luminecent, it captures my mind. I love the gothic style! I'm so into it ^_^ ( Considering my school labels me like hell as goth ;) But I love the beautiful atomospheric feel! My only critisisim is that you could of toned the brightness of the wings down, while beautiful and bright, they burn a hole in my already messed retinas!

and also the stars! the great part of this wallpaper are the birds! i really want to ask where did you get those birds but after i read your description it was there!

it really gives the feeling of being in the starry moon! those feathers are cute too
but maybe you can try making some of them a bit bigger so that it can balance
the size of the scan. Overall great job for the long past style i mean the starry background!

Blue moon... once in a blue moon... Hmm. If I was to comment on the realism of it, I'd say the sky and moon has the wrong color. A night sky, even having some clouds, would tend to lean more towards black with a bit of blue. The moon itself probably should be of a different color altogether but I don't exactly know the appropriate color that would be suitable for it (pure white? Mostly white with yellow hints? *shrug*). I do like the overall picture of it (plus Matsuri is on it) so this is going into my fav bin. Nice work on it.
