After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Odd. I can't seem to copy a vectored image properly from Adobe Illustrator. Whatever I do, rasterize to 600dpi, or 'select all' + copy & paste', as soon as it lands in Photoshop, it looks crappy, like all edgy and low-res. Anyone any experience with this?
I feel like I haven't submitted in a while, and now when I do, it's not what I'm supposed to be submitting >.< I still have so many gifts I haven't finished. Ah well, I started this wall a long time ago so I guess it's okay. I just haven't been in the greatest of moods lately. I don't know what to think anymore, what to do, or what to say to people. Kind of lost I guess.
For once I actually don't have much to say about this wall XD Did the vector, fun fun, lots of gradients. I was so happy vectoring my Ryou I'm so sad that the last episode of Clannad has aired. I haven't seen it yet but still. I don't find a series that I like so much often.
The background is just a touch-up/re-paint of the original scan. If it's good then it is, if not then not. It turned out how I wanted so I'm fine with it. I wanted to add the "sparklies" to the water but I couldn't do it well and I kind of ran out of patience :P
Both the widescreen and 4:3 versions are cropped to fit. You'd have to put them both together to get the full picture.
That's all I can think of to say. Oh, I added an extra part to my sig, just because my last wall was ripped and whatnot. Although I don't think I made it any harder to rip XD
Oh my gosh! My jaws literally dropped--someone finally vectored the scan! First off, love the vector; it's so clean and flawless. You did such a fabulous work on the background, and I can't help but be awestruck on how wonderful everything is. Definitely +favorite. ^^
Great vector as always clean and neat, no need to speak about it, I'm not able to make better.
But, what a lack of originality, even the flowers and the leave are copied pasted from the original scan (except sea and sky), a same result could have been made by advance re-cg of the scan and resize, I'm not trying to be meanful, just advising for your future walls.

You are, undoubtly, one of the very best vector performers I've ever seen... You have totally my respect and admiration.
Brillant, skilled, pleasant, very attractive Wallpaper.
So detailed, so accurate, with such a lively colorscheme... I am astonished... And you deserved a price.

The vectors are flawless and the bg is constructed wonderfully,
you caught the same peaceful and happy bliss that the scan gave
and it's rather amazing to see it re-done, it looks even better.
