While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I didn’t post any wallpaper for a long time, so here is my third wallpaper. I tried to make something original. At the beginning it was just a background for another wallpaper but finally I made a wallpaper with it.
I mainly used “splatter” brushes downloaded on deviantart.
Maybe the wall would need more imperfection or spot but I am satisfied by result.

The wall textures are lovely, but I would say that the whole picture isn't too graffiti-like, at least for the two shinigami. They sure have the style though! And the title looks great too, btw. X)

I really don't have much advice to give, except perhaps make the cracks on the wall pop a bit more, and maybe even have them going across some of the paint. It looks fine the way it is, don't get me wrong, but maybe messing around with that will give you something that you might like yourself.
Great idea ^^ brushes and vectors are used in a very oustanding way.. Me too appreciate the . precision, which is mantained in the 2 characters. Thanks for sharing
