This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I made a minimalistic wallpaper. I hope you guys appreciate minimalistic wallpapers. (It looks good on my desktop.XD) It actually took me time to decide what to do with the original scan but after trying a few photoshop effects, I found the perfect one. It's not a vector work, by the way.
I guess that's it for the details. The credits are on the wallpaper.
Uwah! This is nice! You know what? I actually wanted to make a wallpaper out of the scan too, but couldn't find any good inspiration for it. Hm, what is a "minimalistic" wall? Sorry, I don't know that word. Ooh, Photoshop, eh. I only have GIMP and Photo Suite. Good work, I usually love this type of textures. And, for an extra note, I love plain walls! ^o^. Love your colour combination too, neh. So, good work on this, and ganbatte on your future walls! ^o^.
Very well done...the colors are wonderful...i really like brown and the combination with other pastel colors made a very beautiful product...keep it up!

This is the kind of wall that reminds me how simple colours and traces make a great work. You may have the tools but you need to know how to use.
It's a perfectly well made wall, with soft colours and simple traces. A fantastic work, very difficult to see these days, 'cause nowadays artists are worried too much with textures...it is important but it is not all.
Nice work!
The pastel colors give a sense of softness to the wallpaper.
Though most anime wallpapers do not look well with a pastel blend, this wallpaper is certainly an exception. Very well done.
