This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Love it!

or how long it took to make and what techniques you used, something like that.
The only thing which could improve is the size from 1024x768 to 1600x1200 just don't stretch this image to fit, I did that with my first 2 walls and that blurrs the quality
admin won't mind that but members love the larger resolutions, also it makes it easier to
fine check your work before submission and sizes down well on smaller screens.
P.S I'm going to add you to the watch list so I can keep tabs on your fine work
Looks good in fact i don't think there is much i can complain about.
one suggestion though is that you could change the ^higher of the two text lines to a font that looks as if it's been painted on because the edges looks a little too sophisticated.
but?? just a opinion so Good luck on getting it accepted.

Sorry to say but the concept is way to simple and the gradient you use is not very sophisticated... Although I may really like the concept and be really sentimental about Kenshin I still cannot oversee the fact that this wallpaper should be redone... Sorry :):)):):

I take a look in the session zero... and what have I found!
I really liked the idea of the paper, the image itself makes a lot of presence by transmitting a lot of feelings and sensations, I makes me feel in Kenshin's place... after a battle... feeling that I survived another day... gazing at the horizon...
So I will make some comments willing for the improvement of the idea and the graphical quality of the paper because I have no critiques among the scan and the concept idea.
As Comradco and add1cted2anime said before, I would firstly recommend the increase of resolution, but not just by sketching the image to 1600x1200, but by using the technique ;D
Another thing would be (as appointed by add1cted2anime) to rethink about the font you used in the side text, maybe by trying to make it look as if it had been painted or something alike that.
And at least, regarding the background, I would say that you should maintain the idea of making it look like a old Japanese-style painting, but try to add more shapes or changing the image he's looking to (the mountain with a forest in fire that is show in the end of the 4th OVA, just a simple but well-made sky, the moon, etc...) or putting more houses or making the "city" look like a castle... because I think it's too small, looking alike it's there just to not let the left side of the wall plain.
Well, I just THINK about these ideas... of course, the paper is yours, so they're among your judgement... hehe
I look forward to the development of this one... when it becomes accepted, I'm almost sure I will download, use and comment it.
Good work and good luck!! ;D
