Albel Nox.
I promised to make this wall long ago and finally I'm ready! :D It was not easy because I had to force myself to finish his hair, eye, robe and painting the clouds but after all I think it was worth it. I know the texture is a risky touch but I like it because it makes the wall look unusual and I'd dare to say interesting. A late B-day present for Kalico. Enjoy.
So I started when she asked. Half year ago?? ((Shoot I’m getting so old in so little time .__.)) She asked me to keep his colors. His hair colors, and that robe D: Plus it was a manga scan . I gave up almost at first try :'D
Then I let it get dusty for months.
But a promise is a promise. So I opened it 6 weeks ago and closed almost immediately saying „tomorrow”. That went on for 2 more weeks then I started to feel the pressure. Prooomise, deadlines. She told me she would wait however long but I also knew her B-day was coming soon in March (and Yesss I managed to miss that too :’D) so I started getting serious about this vector. I finally crossed the line and started to enjoy it a lot. (expect painting the clouds with my old fashioned mouse ).
But I like it. I’m satisfied even though I’m not saying it can’t be better. Improvement knows no limit. (but I know how it looked like before and it's much better now xD.

very nice wall i already said that i like it, and the picture improved once again =) the clouds became more realistic(im in awe that you can paint with a mouse like this ... thats insane y'know :D ) love the vector like always and its impressive to make the colors this good when working with a manga scan =)the tree and the birds are pretty nice touches too
the only thing i dislike is the texture , it kinda torns apart the image as a whole, also its brownish orange color makes a complementer(dunno if this is right or not:D) contrast which draws a lot attention , i would remove it if i were you
other than that its a very well made wallpaper , good job =)

(cause I'm a freakin perfectionalist who likes mirrorclean vector with same size outlines in big resolutions...) Emmhh...don't mind that just some blah-blah-blah from me.
In overall this is a S rated wall for me. Also was raelly surprised that somebody does a Star Ocean wall. Finally a treasure between the crowd of Naruto/Bleach/Haruhi/etc. walls. Thank you for sharing and I wish you luck with your another wallpapers too. I like your saying "Good work needs time", I always get upset if it takes too long.

I think its because the sky cause it is blue [complete] and there is no little red/orange color in it

Incredible wall again, this one have smaller inpact on me, maybe just because it doesn't include any girls ;3 I think I like textureless better, not that I don't like that texture, but I think it just fills space. Thanks for textureless version ^^

and i really like the trees for some reason :'D and the clouds! the little dotty bits at about his head level are slightly odd to me but the rest of them are...incredible. my first impression was that the painting style is quite unique and yet it really works. :O
the texture does bring a certain flavor to the wall although i do find the patch of it down in the bottom right hand corner to be somewhat distracting in its realism and size. but i don't mind the other touches of the orange-brown colors. :3
the chosen elements go well together. absolutely lovely work and a definite +fav. =]

Yea, I definitely like the textureless version better :] Some things i can nitpick on are, I dont think you should have lowered the opacity on the guys cape, cause you can see behind him, and you can see that the trees are not complete and sorta just start from nowhere. lol
The red paint splatter kind of looks random to me, and i think it would have been nicer if that was left out. :3 Along with the white and black brushes you have over your wall xD I think the perspective is a little off, because the clouds on the left looks like its a view from underneath, but the clouds on the right looking more from the side. @_@ The perspective on the clouds on the right goes with the char. :]
anywho, nice job! :D the char is hot. lol

The clouds look very nice, but what happened to his hair? It looks like straw @__@ And I'd remove the paint splatter because it looks too random. o: I also think the perspective is kinda wrong, the clouds and the character don't have the same angle.
Btw, I prefere the texture- and splatter-less version. Looks much better. :'D
