This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

im so busy that i barely have time to finish my projects
decided to finish the clannad wall first
dedicated to ASH-Hikari because:
a. i love her
b. i miss her [she's busy too]
c. i didnt dedicate walls to her for a long time
well nothing special about this wall actually...
its my fav ever clannad illustration, and its weird because i usually dont like nagisa, but this pic has beauty/kawaiiness/emotion/orange [my fav colour ]
i just vectored nagisa [which was so painful its weird]
and painted/vectored the bg from the scan
played with the lighting [i ADORE how clannad scans always have complicated lighting] and i hope it came out nice
tittle comes from one of my fave songs [as always] by Sophie Ellis-Bextor
that's all, now i gotta get back to my work on my groups
*grabs the Hotaru no Haka dvd and starts watching*
EDIT: i usually dont read ap comments [cause i dont care about them >_>] but i notcied a lot of people say blurr doesnt look good

well is saw someone creates wallpaper with the same scan used
but yours stick with the original background which i like it better
the whole blurry background is totally fit the whle atmosphere of the wallie!
the vector is the one focus which is sharp!
love the uberly nice outlines + the cleanliness of the whole vector as usual!

It's adorable! But it would be better if it were not so blurred background and hands, I think it is a lot. A well, I love it!
Kawaii......but the background feels empty. Maybe you can put something on the chalkboard, like the umbrella insignia that means She & Okazaki got together

Something about the angle is bothering me... and it doesn't make sense that both the hands and the room are out of focus. :O
But overall, it's very pretty and very well done!!

Well, you already know that I like this work Don't worry about people not liking the blur (it just goes to show they didn't look at the original and that's their problem. If only this wasn't KyoAni I would probably fav this XD (esp since the colours are so warm) but oh well XD

My fav color is orange too haha that why this wallpaper caught my attention straight
Somehow i find the lighting in the wall is a little weird since looking at the window the sunlight is coming in from the right side, and the characters standing at the right wall shouldn't have lighting on them right? O well who cares~

A little bit moving the scan to the left would make in better.
Don't say people that the icon are on the left, icons are there, where you place them!
