As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Now, the background, is another abstract background I decided to make and also very colorful, why? to give more live to this cute scan.
The background was done by blending a few layers with different colors on top of a stock photo, followed by some brushes, textures, gradients and overlays.
I might have to say that this has been my best attempt in making a very "cute" wallpaper out of all
Oh and before I forget, this wallpaper is especially dedicated to Kao-chan, better known as ~kaorux, I promised you a colorful cute wallpaper remember? so here it is, I hope you like it :3

Hey,very wonderful and that was really cute,always like it when I see Gin-sama smiles in a pic.Its like a key to the heaven sanctuary itself to see her wide bright smile.And I also likes the abstract yet colourful background used in the wallie,it just makes the happy themes in the wall complete.Definitely worth a fav,nice job.
Umm...Nice!I like the Background & the scan though I don't think they match coz Suigintou scan looks a bit dark & the BG is bright & her wings also don't match w/ the BG >.>
Yes, cute is right. I love this scan of Suigintou (though did you vector it? It looks like a vector...), and it does scream "kawaii," but the wallpaper just seems...out of place! The background is too random and colorful for her, I think. And the random kanji up in the corner really shouldn't go. ^^; That was the first thing I noticed. XD So yeah, I know you were going for an abstract look, which is fine, but maybe not for this Suigintou image. :3 Good job still!
