This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
For such a wall I needed a girl with naked back, at least neck. And I couldn't find it till I saw this NitroPlus scan and I knew it was exactly that.
The background uses a stock photo with some textures and brick brushes. I wanted to make a simple colored wall, featuring only red, white and black when the main focus is the door and the scan.
The scan is left a bit simpler then usual, however I like it this way.

PS: It's strange, to think about fall when the spring has just come.
This wallpaper is simply superb, or so I think. The desire to have a naked neck or back isn't unreasonable, in fact I think there is a need that could be filled here. Anyways the protagonist is well done the clean lines and sharp contrast with the face make her stand out more than other papers. The spider on her shoulder blade adds an interesting effect. I don't know what to say about it but it definitely changes the ora from potentially innocent to possibly dangerous. Having the fog there is a good call, it reenforces the sense of mystery beyond what it would have been (even with the spider). The door, I think, is perfect good job. The background behind the protagonist and beyond the for could be brightened up behind the protagonist to bring her out, particularly the black hair on black background. You might consider a street light. It looks good all the less. Keep up the good work and ya, i'l fav this ^_^
Uuuu sexy back. The character looks nice, the background is pretty kewel all dark and the red door. Also like the fog and the blood in the shape of leaves? hmm...that's wird Anyway nice wall
I have commented on many wallpapers today but saved yours for last dear friend, beautiful doesn't even come close to the things you make, to the time and effort you put into every detail, this is the first wallpaper you've done that I see your face right in it, this girl looks like you in anime form, with the long flowing black hair and soft pale skin, she has a classic beauty just like you, it doesn't need fancy detail it doesn't need tons of color, it has sweet flowing simplicity, and your beauty as the atmosphere to match a dark and cold night waiting for a friend? Or just your little kitty to come home. What ever she may be thinking/feeling the message is there quietly waiting for the viewer to notice. A+
I have to admit it is the first wall I've seen from you, Selennna. The reason for that is just that I rarely come to check out the walls that have been added recently, and when I do, I download and comment only on those I like. I don't have much to say about the wall itself though. It is a bit too dark for me, but the red door makes it =) So thanks! I'll add this one to my favorites list.

I like the creepiness of the wallpaper with the use of the fog, the spider tattoo and the mystery of the illuminated red door. I, out of terrible curiosity, want to know what's behind the darned door.
I wouldn't suggest anything to change the wallpaper. Another favorite!
