Yeah! I finally made a Kino wall
(I've been wanting too ever sense I watched this anime last year)

I actually started this wallpaper back in November of 2007 and completed my first version of it back then. ^_^; Here's that version if you're interested in seeing it:

Back then, I showed it around to some of my family, and while they were complementary, I could tell they weren't so impressed with it... and honestly, I wasn't really happy with it either. Anyway, from there I didn't really have much inspiration as to what to do next, and I had other wallpaper projects I'd become interested in working on. So that's the state it stayed in until the start of March 2008 (aka, last month) when I decided to open up the psd file again and see what I could come up with. Obviously, I went with much warmer colors this time, as well as adding some new layers and things and doing lots refining to it. I got it almost up to what you see now, but let it sit for a while to live with it. I've actually got a lot of projects like that ^_^; just a little ways from done, but not actually done. Thanks go to !cybil for convincing me to finally finish this and post it ^^

As far as the actual content of this, what I was going for? The title I came up with "Beautiful Discord", that mostly sums it up I guess. When looking at the world, it's easy to see a lot of discord and it all seems like a mess, but maybe that's the thing about it all... about life? about us?... maybe we really are all very discordant, all tangled up and not making all together much sense, and maybe that's also the point, you know? For us to figure out how to turn us around into something beautiful all on our own...
