This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
When we look for a drawing, and realize that it is more than a pattern, an eye;
When we percept it's soul, and feel what it's made;
Of willness; of individuality;
We will turn to valorize it;
More than a childish draw, more than a gesture;
It will be - in fact -; Art.
Kind of a manifesto, anyway... your interpretation.
I really like the possibilities of mixing things, mixing knowledge, and than culture, and than people, and than smiles, that God only gave to us, humans. We should take more advantage of it, rather than just keep fighting aganist it, like we always do to people next to us. We are different to fill each other's missing parts. We should look at those differences like we needed them, not like we needed to terminate it.
I must admit this is a very futuristic design, which suits my tastes perfectly. What is more the colors of the sketch are more than just beautiful, it gives the whole pieve something extraordinary. Good work on this and glad to have you back.

i must say, it definitely caught my eye.
i like it. the mixing of colours is very well done, not too over the top...almost resembles a water-like variation of the northern lights.
use of fonts and choice of words was very well made. everything blends, suits but also shouts out at the viewer. more importantly, everything (i.e. word) fits in with the theme: 'manga essence'. sometimes some people add random things or words or name their wall with a totally unrelated title...that bugs me.
and you'r right. people should learn to mix.
lol...you should see my school. people of all different nationalities studying together...but then when it comes to recess/lunch, each group is of a different culture: the italians in the courtyard, the asians in the foyer, the australian/english on the oval, the sudanese on the benches... its rather sad when you think about. outside we chat, say hi, study together, but deep down inside, we're barricading ourselves for them to come in. And alternatively, they do the same.
Mwahaha, so refreshing to see you around =) I´m glad there´s still someone who thinks different, I can always count on you with that =P not your best work I dare to say but it´s nice and refreshing to see something new, I definitely like the colors =)
Found the wall randomly, the big "Manga" is very catchy, i like the color transition and the way you arrange all the words in different language?
Anyway, good job!:)

Hey kleaf, good to see you back buddy, i too have been away for a while...
anyway, nice to see you did another original piece...my only crit would be the text is all the same colour, a range of different colours and opatcity of the text might look good, anyway, thats just my 2 cents,
i like the colours alot, very trippy and effective, some people can don't know what colour paletes to use, you do and you've proved that through all your work.
The eye is done nicely, i like the sketchy-ness of your style and again the colours really work!
and last but not least the message of the paper is very cool.
