Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Figured that because the uni schedule was winding down before the summer holidays, I'd make a new wallpaper. That and a rather uneventful Easter break...
Basically a complete remake of a Touhou scan I found on an imageboard. Vectored in Illustrator and background painted in Photoshop. Overall, took around 3 weeks on and off. Should be one of a few new wallpapers. Comments and suggestions appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful. The lighting in particular was well done and I love the little designs around her outfit. My single complaint would be that the maple leaves look extremely two dimensional given the depth in this wall, but all in all, a wonderful job!

Her eyes though. When I close up on the eyes it seems they are still part of the extracted character image. Gah, I dunno what I'm talking about, just something about her eyes that caught my attention, I'm just dumb. But I like the wall, nice job.
