Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Hello!
The 4th version of this wall...
I worked on the colour and the adjustement between the background and the characters. Is ti better now?
Thank you for your comments!

Hi, Cilou. This is looking good> Did you do this all from scratch? I have two suggested improvements, which are both subtractions. Though I imagine that more experienced wallers may have some helpful suggestions for what you might add to improve this wallpaper. Also, I am not sure what other people have suggested to you, so sorry in advance if I am saying something that you have heard already, or if I am contradicting someone else's advice. Use your best judgment.
First, lose the Sasuke x Sakura text in the upper right-hand corner. Naruto is the most widespread, well known anime on the planet these days. Anybody surfing on AnimePaper already knows who Sasuke and Sakura are. Having the text there is not only distracting, but further ruins the whole dramatic, melancholly, tragic and bittersweet mood of this fantastic moonlit scene you have got going on here. There are only rare occasions when I find a text that I think actually adds to a wall. More often than not, unless they serve a function in the picture beyond merely communicating an idea (i.e. additionally providing a pattern or shape or color or texture that compliments the larger picture) text just makes things feel cheap or cheesy. So there's one thing to consider subtracting.
The other, second thing that I would suggest subtracting is the whitish gradient leading up into the picture from the bottom. However, I don't think that you should leave the bottom plain. I really like the idea that you have here, I just think that you may be able to execute it more effectively. The idea seems to me to be something like a misty fog hovering low to the ground along the dewy floor of this dense forest. And having it there definitely enhances the eerie and mysterious feel of the scene, while also contributing, of course, some added realism. Personally, I would like to have it look more like patchy and whispy fog then like you have a smoke machine running just off camera. Something closer to a faint flowing stream of fog, almost like cigarette smoke. It is just an thought, so see what you think about it. As far as accomplishing it, I am not the one to ask. Maybe you can try some fine brushes at low opacity using different shades of grays and then smudging them a little?
Whatever you subtract or don't subtract, end up adding or not adding, it's still nice work.
Is Sasuke supposed to be really stabbing Sakura with that kunai, or did he in mercy decide to turn it upwards at the last instant?
The color layer looks good but a little to much. Recommend the opacity between 55-75%. This helps keep a good color on the characters since I find monochrome very...weak. When done right with the right concept it works, but in my opinion, not this wall. Monochrome tends to lose focal point unless you apply good contrast. By lowering the color layer, you bring their color into the picture and attract the viewers attention more.
Forgot to mention in my last post that you should subtract the text. Possibly incorporate it better instead of an afterthought in the right-hand corner. Text is tricky and requires a lot more creativity when combined with an illustration. Anyhow its coming along wonderfully. Best wishes.
Wow - really nice so far ^_^. a few things that are a bit iffy though >_< - the text at the top ruins it - maybe you can change the font and place it at the bottom right and lower it's opacity. I think what will add more depth to this is you can maybe add more moonlight coming from the left to shine onto sasuke and sakura - that'll really do the job I think. and from that you can add some shadows from sasuke and sakura to make them seem in the background because somehow they seem as if they were just placed on the wall. I really like the background - I want to paint like that! so yeah everything else is amazing - KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ^_^!

Have a nice day.
but this one really caught my atention, it's really nice, and i love this couple ^^
keep up the good work, baee n__n
oh, and i agree with ~reincarnation.. the SasukexSakura text up there is disturbing. the wallpaper itself is better off without that text.
oh!! and can you minimize a bit your sign below there?
i'll add this one too to my faves..
love the mist...
However, the color a bit too much...
reduce opacity...
