I finally bring myself to finished this wallpaper after a couple of weeks dwelling in laziness :D *looks at the clock* OMG I'm submitting this on 2 am!?
Anyway, I really like Totoro, it's one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movie. So I took this scan and vector it. Actually, I didn't want to trace the sprouts, but it turned out kind of weird to see the characters jumping and cheering on nothing. So I reluctantly did it. The grasses are brushed. The clouds and moon are the usual brush & smudge. The black thing in the background is suppose to be a hill (which is also brushed) >_<
The overall color scheme didn't turned out quite like what I expected. I was hoping the colors could look more vibrant -___- I tried tweaking the hue and adding color layers, but it still doesn't work. Whatever...
Thanks to Ta-Chan for nudging me to finish this and for staying with me when the going gets rough.

And because some people are curious, here's how I made the background...
Amazing, instant fav! The best wall it could be on that Totoro masterpiece.
All the wall have a great painting coherency from cloud's to plant, the whole thing is even more energized than the original scan, some kind of a "power up" mystery :)

The wall is very nice, really good painting on your part. The sprouts are really needed since they would look strange just like that. The vector is neat and Totoro for me is a win!
Yay! Totoro! Great wall, I really like the smudged texture on the vectored characters up front, but I think the background looks like it was all smudged with little vectoring, so in my opinion the background has a bit of a discrepancy (even though it's smudged well). So I think the background could have used a vectored base too, to make it flow together with the characters in my opinion. But anyway, fav from me regardless because I like how the overall wall looks. ^_^

I can't say I particularly like Totoro, but this wall is simple gorgeous. The Clouds in particular look extremely good, it makes the whole wallpaper feel surreal and magical. As expected, judging from your previous walls.
The only thing I don't particularly like is the grass, because it seems to haev a different style to the rest of the wallpaper.
Nevertheless, excellent wallpaper!
