This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
If you happened to see the original of this wall that was uploaded yesterday, you'll know right off the bat what an improvment this is. It just goes to show what you can accomplish when you listen to the advice that the members give here and change up a few things.
A solid idea with a good execution. The composition is sweet, and the colors accent and give this wall a sexy atmosphere, and the lack of colors gives it a heavy mood. It's definitly worth a look and a download.
Beautiful composition, really looks creepy. I love the colors used in the sunset, and the shadows really contribute to the atmosphere of this wallpaper. Great job! ;) same what zephiris26 said ^^
great job
I agree there aren't so many wall of Kyo, cool to see one...
I like the smooth look it has, kinda blurry but I like it.
And the hard contrast with the black and white add something special to the wall.
The kind of colors you choose for the sky are pretty originals.
Thanks ... adding this to fav ^^
Wonderful colour contrast between the black and white swordsman and the orange/ red conglomeration of the background. Gives a feeling of sunset within dark overtones. a very pleasing wall.
This wall has a creepy feel, but I like it. The position of his arm really bugs me, but I know there's nothing you can do about that (maybe that's why I find it creepy?). ^^; I think the sky is very nice.
The colours are beautiful, but you already knew that. ;D I love the whole effect, or vibe that it gives off. It's definitley wonderful just to look at.
Yay... Samurai deeper kyo! Love Kyo. :D Anyway... a nice wall... love the colour you used but i think the contrast is a bit high... Kyo looks a bit too bright to me. Heh.. but overall... nice and i like it.
I like the contrast you used, it really sets the mood for Kyo. Like how you managed to incorporate the darkness of SDK without any of the typical blood splatters or grunge effects.
