This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I worked on this project on and off for about six months. It started with the original screencap from Itadaki no Hecatetan. I was trying for the longest time to incorporate some kanji into the wall, but it just never looked right, so I ended up going with a textless version because I wanted to keep it simple. This is not my first wallpaper, but it is my first wallpaper submitted to AnimePaper so I'm looking forward to everyone's response.
Yay first comment I will give it my best!
The wallpaper is made in a style that I have never seen before, so I don't really know how and what to say about it... (well not too much anyway)
The way that you cut off the right (or is it left) side of Shana just at where the hair is makes Shana looks very mysterious, and it's also like she is being drawn into the background as well (or is it like she a part of the background, hmm...)
I like the background as well as it fits very well with the character and it has a nice pattern in it which makes the wallpaper look cool and mysterious
The extraction and vectoring of the character have also been very nicely done, this is a very cool wallpaper and I think will stay good as it is.
Keep up the good work!
Very nice wallpaper of Shana. I love her face expression on that one. The colours of the background fit very well to it, which counts for the form of the background too. Nice work
Great job!!
The clear in the wall is amazing! The most impressive is her face expression , it´s mysterious but it encloses many feelings in it
I love this wall

This is a beautiful wallpaper. I'm so glad to see it accepted from SZ! The amount of time you spent on it was well worth it. The wallpaper is clear and crisp. The choice of colors is unique and still pleasant.
Dark and heavy colors are very impressive. Her face is Shana and Hekate's interesting mixture. I saw the scene in 'Hekate on the Head. Her face means two conflict characters have common part as fatal existance in the shadow. It's very good job. I wish you have a nice day.
Just like i've said in Session Zero, if you upload it, it would be a fav. I'm Just keeping my promisse ;) Great wall Well worth your time. Keep up the good job =)
Haven't seen this series yet fall in love with this wall, love her expression in her eyes, the colors are choice ,too, and the lines neat, what about adding some text?
I love this wallpaper! It is absolutely stunning for loss of better words!
Shana is my absolute favorite character of all time and this wallpaper just makes her look so dark and gives her a new feel!
