I really enjoy Range Murata's art, and I especially enjoy the scan and the colouring and patterns that you used, but I really think that it could do without the crinkle effect in the background. If the background were plain white then I would definitely use it as my desktop.
I really really love what you've done to this wallpaper. The elements are all so varied but really work well with how you combined them together. The crumbled paper look really emphasizes all the crazy sharp destruction type shapes you used coming off the character. The coloring and the design is top notch too.
I especially love the contrast of her delicate pose over the noisy background - like she has perfect control with the energy around her.
I think the only thing that I'd like to see would be the bubble on her dress become more opaque and actually stand out as an object in front of her instead of melding in with her dress. It's a little confusing to me. Although I see more bubbles as I inspect the picture it's the only one that stands out since it's on top of black.
