Well, this is my second ever self drawn-wallpaper at AP! =) The first attempt can be found here
I did this one in a completely different style as you can see lol.
I think I came a long way but first off I was inspired by an artist on the monthly Animage that I decided to adopt this perspective, hence my original character AQUA.

ORIGINAL ART I drew:

Time taken to draw art: 0.5 Hour
Time taken to make the wallpaper: 2 Days
Layers: 91 + [Including Text]
Brushing: ALL default [except for text]
Textures: celestial-star.net & feel.hironeko.net

I wanted something painting-style so I had to painfully adjust brush settings to fit the specific shapes I wanted, or making colors "go out" on purpose etc- anyhow it was both challenging and enjoyable!

The reason I chose lavenders as the flower for this wallpaper, is that we\'re currently in a rainy season - rather sentimental period of the year - and wanted to bring out the \"rainy\" atmosphere. I wanted the character to be surrounded in fields of lavender and portions of the face was excluded intentionally.

EDIT: I've cleaned the lines on the hands, cheeks, nose & mouth [got lazy on the eyes]
