This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

However here I am again and I'm glad to be back.

Besides giving the woman a body of a mermaid, I played a lot with her hair, then some simpler background and water effects. Yeah, and an addition of the lovely fishie, I love them.
This wall took a week or two though, I don't know if it was so hard to make or if I was so lazy, maybe both of it:))

Yes, I noticed it has been a very long time. I recognized the style in her hair... I've seen the feathered look on one of your other walls.
I like the change you did to her clothes to make it seem more sheer/see-through. Very nice. What I like the most is the water reflection on his shirt. It makes the wallpaper look more realistic.
Excelent wallpaper, splendid vector, her hair looks like vexel to me, love how you reconstructed her body to mermaid, and her dress looks goregous. and we like this bluish background, and effects of water.
Oh hunny, it truly warms my heart to see a new wall from you your creative spirit is a breath of fresh air to me, the wall paper is gorgeous and from one of my favorite anime no doubt, the hair is flowing gracefully like the water around it and the fish her air to breathe, to worlds combing into one and filling each heart with words unspoken. The juxtaposition (sp?) between the mermaid lady and the guy in terms of style and technique, not just careful detail but it looks like you thought about where to put that detail.
Oh this is gorgeous. I still think Saiga is such a handome guy!. Very beautiful interpretation from the original scan, love the water, the fish, Kagura as a mermaid and Saiga! Instant fave!

There's something weird with this wall. It's like you did this amazing vector of the girl and had someone else -less skillful- do the guy. It looks good anyway but if you had focused on the wall altogether it would look way better. I love the ornament pattern on her clothes along with the fish.
I'll fav 'cause the girl grew on me.

Oh! Her hair looks so pretty, I really like the shining effect! Also wonderful work on her clothes.
But I think the guy doesn't really suit the atmosphere cuz he's kinda too dark. Since you didn't add any linart for the girl the guy's face stands out a bit. o: But great work nonetheless. :3
