This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

So, hi everyone. It's been a while since my last wall. I'm not going to make any huge description like I used to because I know they are tiring.
I've always wanted to make a decent grunge wallpaper and when I saw this and this I knew they would look great together.
So, I vectored the character, painted the feathers and then I tried to use several grunge elements to get the desired result.
This time I didn't want to make anything complex. I just wanted to have fun and that's what I basically did.
This is a dedication to `Deto15 and `sakurab as a thanks for their wonderful gifts.

Beautiful detail and and colors. I really like the hair colors and the detail on the headphones. The dark grunge works well with the entire piece and the crow top with the netting is a cool element. Great work!

I love it! It has a harshness yet remains soft to the eyes. The feathers are really cool. They almost seem like they are floating, but caught in time. Almost, as if you could read out and grab one...
Its been a looong time! ;_; but hey, you're back with this awesome detailed wallpaper :'D I think the feathers are a bit too much, but it still looks okay :3 and i love the spider web 8D

that ties the characters also the bird! the feathers
are cool too! the colors really fits on the feathers
making it black and gray! the vector is nice with
sharp colors + great outlines! and the placement
of the text totally fits the whole wallie!
