This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
well the story of this is like this.....
yesterday I was surfing the net and suddenly found this image : http://www.spacetelescope.org/images/html/heic0306a.html and i was stuuned.it was realy beautiful and also it was copyright_free so i thought it would be a waste if you dont use it and decided to render it,but thanks to Killtacular454 from http://planetrenders.net i was saved since he had already render it ^^
anyway I used the image with some new effects and adjustments and lightenings and also tried to give it a fantastic atmospher.

well..What do you think ppl?
It might look better if you manipulate the background so that it looks less 'real' (if you get what I mean) the scan is too 2D compared to the galaxy thing...Other than that, I think the character's pose and expression suits well with the background ^.^ Great job on choosing the style of the wallpaper ;)
By the way, is it Card Captor Sakura? I never saw her before
Anyway, good luck~ I hope to see it in the gallery soon~
Nice font being used but somehow, there seems to be a translucent box in the background of the title. I do not know whether it is done on purpose but my opinion is that the wall would look better without that translucent box behind it. An alternative would be to apply outer glow for the words of the title. I think that would match real nice with the wall.
Next, the thing that looks like a face on the right hand side of the wall looks weird to me. Somehow, it does not match the mood of the character scan. The background however is excellent. I would advice you to replace the face with a bird, outlined by stars, on the top right hand corner of the wall. This would make the character in the wall look as if she is really reaching for something.
Really hope to see an edit of this wall soon. Will favourite it once I think it is good enough. All the best luches :D
I'm going to say the wall looks amazing. The only thing I could see that needs fixing is the text. One, wandering is spelled wrong. And two, I agree with so and so that the translucent box is not a good fit. An outer glow would definitely be better here.
