Another painted style wallpaper from me. ;D This one was made from a pretty scan of Howl and Sophie that i found in the Adumi Tohru gallery.

Walling Process

This wallpaper is a scan extension from the original scan. I painted the background and tried to imitate it as closely as i could. Then i worked on smoothing out the scan by using the usual smudge technique to give it that smooth painted feel. Then i added in the text. I made the text by using a simple font, and then i added the flowers and make it look like it's merged in with the text. Then the opacity of the text was lowered to blend in better with the background.

Although not all of it worked out as planned, im still quite happy with how it ended up. Besides, i don't think there's anything else i could do with it. The extension is SO well-done! You painted it so nicely it blended perfectly with the original scan. I like the scan you picked out~ Love its dreamy color scheme. :)
And btw, I like this version out of all that you've linked, the size of the characters are just right, even though I think they should be placed more over to the left of the wall. The simplicity of the text's font suits the wall well~
Yea...there seems to be too few Howl's wallpapers around...so it's great that you're adding on to the collection! LoL.

I had been waiting for this for a long time XD The color of the background looks so pleasant and calming, and it suits the scans very well too ^.^ The circles and the sparkles adds a nice touch to the wallpaper ;) Only I don't quite like the font you chose for the text 'Colored Dreams', but still, the rest of the title looks beautiful~

P.S: Waiting for more wallpapers from you, since you are still free xD

Interesting, that's such a mad extension of the scan and actually delivers the 'playful' feel while keeping the traditional look thanks to the colors and painting techniques. The text is an intriguing aspect of the wall and I really can't help but be amazed by the soft circles -- the only flaw of this is that they're in abundance and really focuses the viewers' attention to the circles rather than the characters. Anyway, it's a solid wall and I'm really loving it! ^^

Haha! That's my one of my favourite art from Azumi Tohru! XD I have toyed with the idea of making a wall out of this scan as well, though it never did materialize in the end. I'm glad you decided to keep the original style, and well done on the extension. It looks completely natural. And the colors make me happy. ^_^

Overall nice work, comparing the previous typography with this one, you done one awesome work
Colors of the BG are on complete harmony with the BG, nice work on that.
only thing i think its wrong, wouldnt this be better on adumi category?
