This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Hi! I remade my last kaleido star wall, I though that the other was horrible, and I stayed a while without knowing what the hell to do...then I saw in deviant art something really nice, walls with text and I wanted to do something like that!!
Then I spend hours thinking and thinking and finally I made this!!
but I don't know how to do it at all...I've been trying to improve the original one, please tell me what do you think of my wall, and those other versions too:
First I want to commemorate you for flat out doing a Kaleido Star wallpaper in the first place. KS is an under-rated anime, and although season 2 was total crap, season one was one of the most enjoyable anime I have seen in a while, so for that I want to thank you. Second I want to say that I like where you're headed with this wallpaper. The main picture just seems cut off by all the wording, but is a great picture to use. I would suggest making use of the sides, by having the words and phrases kinda slide out from underneath the bottom of the character. This is because the character is the focal point of the wallpaper, with the words being second. Cutting off the character at the top like this only takes away from that vocal point, and in the end confuses your viewer. Once you rescale or move or shift your main picture, I'd consider maybe decorating the background if you want, but it is fine (the background that being) the way it is now. Keep up the good work, I like where it's headed.
I agree with the person up top. The wallpaper idea is great, the composition is good but needs tweaking. The thing I suggest to work on is the dots around Sora, the dots make the area look too busy compared to the wallpaper as a whole. Still great idea and work on the wallpaper, hope to download the finished piece on day.
Adding to what the above members said, try taking a look at Deto-15's wallpapers which makes use of text to a great effect ;) Less circles will be nice too.
That blue is bad... maybe more something like the hair of the character are like... and the running of it should be more smooth... and why does the half of the head have to disappear in the outer-scene?
