After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Seeing my tv guide i was surprised to find Makoto Shinkai's Voices of a distant star there at a time slot of 11:50 pm. And they have drugs and harlots at 10PM

It was the first anime i watched that made me fall in love with shinkai's works.
Anyway i didn't watch it on TV but i did watch it the next day, and place promised in our early days and 5cm after school.
So after a full view of shinkai's goodness i really felt like making some series of walls from the 3 anime.
This is the first one, i tried to blend in a bit of abstract with a bit of elegance.
The beautifull flower brush if i remember correctly is from Design Fruit.
I placed the image and cut it into four shapes of a petal (thanks to AP logo for the idea) xD
A bit of this and that, pattern, texture i scanned myself (given by a friend)
slight color correction and a few hints of layer styles here and there and it's done ^_^
And if you have not already, go see all Makoto Shinkai's works. Watch it in HD to really appreciate the artwork. I want a blu-ray version T_T
Please comment and critic, i feel i stepped into unfamiliar territory here so any suggestion to improve would be greatly appreciated.

Simply, no words for how great it is! Yes, simplicity can overwhelm crowded walls! Simply walls focus the attention on the main theme, which in this case is a superb image, and the bg is just awesome, it emphasizes the main image and does not take the attention away from it.

The design is simple yet very attractive. Also a great choice of colours and patterns. This is one of the walls you probably won't get sick of after having it on you're desktop for a month. Good job man :)
Wow I have to admit that this is very girly compared to your last wall, but I think it's completely sweet and I completely understand where your coming from about his work I love voices of a distant star and I have a place promised in out early days lined up to see next. I think the wall is simple and focused on the pattern in the middle I think there faces and postures are very life like you can easily put yourself into the wall, the flower brushes add soft detail and I love the sweet little poem beside the picture i think that's the seller right there because it's just like what there thinking inside there heads quietly, never let go of a moment like this for it may slip away in time for ever.
Very nice wall, like the color and the way the clover makes the image, very nice impressive wallpaper, seems so calm nice defiantly one of my favorite!

The petal idea was genius! It's like, the wall is pretty simple but in a great way. It stands out. And the images you used were very nice. The bg just adds to its amazingness, making it look very delicate and lovely and giving it a beautiful atmosphere. In the end, a wall full of win, lol.
I can't wait to see the other walls. A 1024 x 768 res would be be great if it's possible. =3
Nice! The clover window looks really interesting. I love the infinity symbol you made with the blue and pink on the clovers.
One thing though, is that I think the patterns overlayed on the clovers could be a little more refined. But it's not really a big deal, and the rest of the wall is really exquisite.
And ha, it is like AP's logo isn't it? Though I initially thought 4chan...
