This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Alrighty all :) This is and AzuManga Daioh wallpaper that was actually pretty fun to make. I was kinda aiming to make a fun wall and that wasn't really that hard to get cuz AzuManga Daioh is just a fun show :D
There wasn't much to revise, I just cleaned up the image a bit and upped the contrast, all in all maybe and hour to make.
I love the picture but I'm not so sure I'm fond of my signature, but since this is my first wallpaper I'll have time to experiment with it.
Just be kind of nice when you're commenting because it's my first wallpaper, but I'd still like to improve to crits are welcome
While I like the simplicity of the wall, I think you should do more with the background because it feels really empty.
Not sure if you vectored it, but the scan does look very clean, which certainly adds to the funny feel of the wall - especially one based on Azumanga Daioh.\
The text looks kinda out of place though. It'd be better if you used a simple and playful font that suits the anime - rather than the serious army-style font , although I do realise thats part of the point of the wallpaper.
I'd suggest adding more brushes to the background, you can get a lot of free vector-styled brushes off the internet and they would really make this wall a lot more interesting.
Other than that, nice work for your first wall, and I'm surprised you managed to make this in an hour.

Good work. It's always nice to see new AzuManga Daioh wallpapers. Contrary to what others may say I think the background is fine. It seems to fit the context of the Chibis. Why would you have undetailed Chibis and a detailed background? Anyways yay for AzuManga Daioh. Keep it up and good luck. Also you have a definite fav here ^_^.

Lovely Bonkuras!! Their Zet-stream attack is invincible. Their respective personalities in their faces are always interesting. That's why I like Azumanga Daioh series.
This is the wallpaper I've been waiting for. Now the background erks me a lot, because a simple white background is not pretty to look at, but the Sea Slug Team has been put together very well for your first wall, and for that it'll get my +Fav. Go Team Sea Slug and the Baka Rangers!
