After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
You just have to finish the lower right corner of the image, saturate the image itself (maybe +5-20 just to have colors pop out more) and outline the text then you'd honestly be done.
it looks awesome right now. Since the coloring seems to be the main focus, if you put a too much textures or brushes, it takes away that focus. To me, anyway.

I think I would go with a sunset like bg and take off that texture. Make it very plain like drawing as lineart, but that's a matter of taste. Love the colours. G luck!
Wow i love the design of this, the colors are good, but in my opinion i would like to view this with a white and clean bg instead of the gray color.

Has a very surreal feel to it, I feel that the background should have a light blue tinge to it because at the moment it feels unfinished. Maybe a title in the corner with a dark grey font, maybe using the overlay option in photoshop?
If you vectored this, it would look so much nicer. Not really sure what you did here, you need to provide the scan so that we can see what you did exactly. Other wise people will have to go hunt for the scan.
Anyways, if you want to keep this simple, I really think you should vector this to increase the quality. Also, you need to do more to the scan rather than just playing around with the colors and adding brushes on top. It looks like you didn't extract the char, and that you added on a purple and yellow brush on the right side.. You should also continue parts of the brush on the right because it just stops suddenly (purple one). I also agree with annex on the bg, try adding some more to it, maybe try a little more typography? But don't overdo it or it'll take away from the simplicity of this, which works with the colors you used.

However the gray background is the only thing that I don't think fit with this colorful wallpaper, so in my opinion, change it to a darker shade of white (not completely white) and apply slightly light shade of gray to show some textures, or maybe try a light shade of orange or yellow, or perhaps blue, but very light.
