This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This is the first wallpaper I try to upload here, and it was rejected because I did not write a description of it. I suppose I had not read all the rules :)
Anyway, here is my description:
I liked the image, a beautiful bishonen, I did not change it much, just worked with the dimensions and the "curves" on photoshop and blackened the background.
I make his eyes violet, I wanted something particular. I would have liked to darken his skin to a dark complexion, but I do not know how to do it on Photoshop. I am writing a novel with a character that I imagine like him, but with darker skin.
The title of the wall is from an old American Folk song. The complete verse would be:
"the joys of love are but a moment long
the pain of love can endure the whole life long."
I made it widescreen, there are not many that fit the widescreen format I need. I hope you like it.
It does not look clear to me or is it the effects to be faded
but it is also blurry and has noises that looks pixelated
sharpen it and clarify it that's all
Oh, for the love of a Kaiken Phrase wallpaper, please don't give up on this. I've been itching for a wallpaper from this series for years.
I like the wallpaper but I'm afraid it may have an issue with the texture. If this is just a 'stock' pic with a few effects added to it, it may not be accepted.
Well, I correcte the pixeling of the eyes and blurred the writing a bit more. The blurred effect is wanted, I wanted it to look more like a tempera painting. I made the lips slightly redder.
I am not sure what I can do to smoothen the texture, I suppose I could blur it more. I tried sharpening, but it gets uglier.

Hm...frankly I dont know enough about walling to offer any advice, but it irks me how it ends just before his chin does.
The lips look really realistic though
