As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool
Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.
I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

That's a new wall. I thought about it for a long time.
I made the vector of Naruto, and the BG too. I made the first vector in 4 hours, and the second in 30 minutes. I made this wall in 6-7 hours.
I tried to represent Naruto, his personality through his posture, and the chain that hold it up (his curse) by the BG.
I sent it to the "session zero", and the comments that I receive were positive. So I propose it for the Galery.
I like the character, his position, but I'm enough proud of the BG. I worked it very much.
I hope you'll like this wall.

Wow...i like this kind of naruto picture. very good picture., i suggest you its better to make background grey,because uzumaki like grey very much. recently, gray background about naruto in japan is very popular, i read the writer's blog, he said the story focuses on team 7. a group of ninja affiliated with the village of konohagakure. and its composed of the series promary characters. before he made naruto uzumaki, he really wanted to let uzumaki wear grey clothes,because in japan, ninja usually wear black or dark clothes.

Whats with the BG, did you made a brush of the naruto fox seal and use it as a BG?? or what did you do, anyways it looks like you didn't put effort on the BG, its too empty, and the effect you used on the sides is just a photoshop effect, you need to work on that BG, or make something else from scratch, good luck.
